Newfoundland Cod Jigs

These authentic Cod jigs were used in hand-line jigging for cod. Sometimes, the line would extend to 200 feet (60 meters), hence the heavy weight ( approx 2 lbs / .9 kg ) of these jigs — to help them bottom fish. Approx 10 inches (25 cm ) long. Available in our standard colours or custom (Pantone) specifications.
